Mission Equipped is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the children of military personnel, police officers, firefighters, and first responders. We’re on a mission to remove the financial barriers that prevent these kids from joining sports teams and extracurricular activities.

Mission Equipped provides free access to youth sports for children of military members, police officers, firefighters, and first responders. This includes:
Support is provided based on available funding and applicant eligibility.
Children of active duty, reserve, or veteran U.S. military personnel, as well as sworn police officers, firefighters, and other first responders. Verification is required.
Begin by verifying your identity through ID.me. Once verified, you’ll complete our short application form to request assistance.
We aim to support participation in most organized youth sports, including but not limited to hockey, football, baseball, soccer, basketball, and more—depending on need and funding.
Families may apply once per child per season or sport. Repeat applications are considered based on previous support and funding availability.
We are in the process of obtaining 501(c)(3) status. All donations currently support our mission, and we will update supporters once our status is finalized.
Priority is given to families with financial need, multiple children in sports, or those in under-resourced areas. All applications are reviewed case-by-case.
We do not provide direct cash assistance. Mission Equipped pays vendors, teams, or leagues directly whenever possible.
